  • Cultural/preventative management tips for fall
  • IPM principles
  • Chemical control tips for select diseases (large patch, take-all, pythium)
Dr. Becky Grubbs, TAMU

Dr. Becky Grubbs is a native Texan, having grown up just north of Dallas in Lewisville, TX. She completed both her BS and MS degrees in Horticulture at Texas Tech University in 2010 and 2013, respectively. She then went on to complete her PhD at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA in 2017.  Dr. Grubbs is the State Turfgrass Extension Specialist with Texas A&M AgriLife in College Station where she provides outreach and education tools that serve the needs of the growing Texas turfgrass industry and its many components (golf courses, athletic fields, home lawns, sod production, and parks/rec). Her research primarily focuses on environmental turfgrass science and improved resource-use efficiency in turfgrass systems.
